Certificate of Completion
Upon successful completion of the tests at the end of each module in a course and the course test, students may choose to print a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
CE Credit for Microbicides Essentials Course
U.S. nurses, nurse midwives, physician assistants, and physicians are able to receive continuing-education credits for the completion of some courses. Learners must register at the beginning of the course, complete all modules of the course and course tests, and complete a course evaluation in order to receive credit.
The Microbicides Essentials course has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP) and the Global Campaign for Microbicides. ARHP is accredited by ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Nurse Practitioners: This educational activity has been approved by the Continuing Education Approval Program of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health. NPWH designates nine contact hours for this course. Pharmacology hours to be determined.
Nurse-Midwives: ACCME credit hours in Category One are accepted by the Continuing Competency Assessment Program of the American College of Nurse Midwives for programs relevant to nurse-midwifery. Nurse-midwives completing this course may report up to nine credit hours for the Microbicides Essentials course.
Physician Assistants: American Academy of Physician Assistants accepts Category One CME approval from organizations accredited by the ACCME to grant Category One hours toward the Physician’s Recognition Award. Physician assistants attending this meeting may report up nine credit hours.
Physicians: ARHP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. ARHP designates nine credit hours in Category One of the Physicians Recognition Award of the Medical Association.
